Another Google July PR Update – Got PR 4!

Yep, Google was at it again it seems as I just noticed that my blog was upgraded to a PR of 4! This is great news, as we all know that PR determines/can at least help you rank better in search engines and add more value to your overall site. This is definitely good news if you want to rank quickly for certain posts or if I decide to sell the blog. 🙂

Did You See Any Changes?
Anyways, what are your rankings and did you notice any changes in your niche websites or your personal sites? Every time I see any Google PR updates I quickly check out some of my more popular niches and websites that I created to see if there were any changes, and there were quite a few, including this blog. I just wanted to write this quick blog post and let you know to check your sites and see if there were any changes!

Pairing Up Offers With Your Traffic

If you have been stuck at cranking, try this “reversed” approach. Now you are not limited by the offers. You are liberated from the limited thinking posed by the offer itself. Now you can find opportunities first, then use offers to monetize the opportunities. Let me open your mind a little more with a simple but powerful trick:

Next time when you are going to watch TV, take a notepad with you. Take a note of whats hot on the news (new government policy, celebrity news, local events), take a note of all kinds of advertisements (weight loss, money making, coupons, promotions, pay close attention to those 30-minute-long informationals, those are my favorite TV programmes), take a note of domain names if any are ever mentioned. If you do this for one day, you are going to have 10 pages of keywords you can use to promote your own campaigns.

The keywords for your campaigns can be an event, can be a company name, can be a domain name, can be a coupon code. Do you get it? What happens is people see the TV programme, then they go back to their computer to Google more information about it. Who are these people? Buyers!

Exact, Phrase or Broad Match Campaigns?

Exact match keywords means that you place your keywords in brackets [] and only people searching for that exact term will see your ad. So, if your keyword is “blue cars” then your ad will show up only when people type in “blue cars” exactly and not “buy blue cars” or “used blue cars” or even “blue car”.

Phrase matches allow you to access a wider target market. These keywords are contained in quotations “” so, continuing with our same example, “blue cars” will show your ad whenever people type in searches such as “used blue cars”, “big blue car”, “sell blue cars”. On the other hand, your ad will not show up for a search such as “blue used cars”.

Broad match terms are those without delimiters so you would simply type your term in as blue cars. If you don’t add negative keywords your ad will show up for everything from blue cars photos to a blue sedan type car that looks cool.

6 Tips To A Profitable Adwords Campaign

Of course, you will also have to set up a Google AdWords account, where you can set your daily budget as well as the maximum CPC you are willing to pay for each keyword. Once your daily budget has been met, Google will simply stop showing your ad for the remainder of the day.

This is why there are many who advocate that it is better to set a lower CPC rather than lowering your budget because it’s better to be shown on the eighth position of the list for the whole day rather than the second position for part of the day. There are also some statistics that show ads in lower positions tend to generate more sales and convert better.

Free Instant Traffic Method Through Google!

If done right, this method will get you instant, targeted traffic to your site very fast. We’ll use Google Groups to get the traffic. On Google Groups there is a group about anything so your options are endless. It’s very easy to find a google group for your niche. Just go to http://groups.google.com and search for “iphone”.

After that click on the “Groups matching iphone” link and you will see the exact amount of groups in this niche as well as their activity. You would think that the more members there are the more sales you would make. I have found this to be false. Why? The more members there are, the more activity it will be and your posts will go down faster and people won’t see them.

The result = Less traffic to your website. So what’s the solution? Choose groups with max 500 members. Those work best! Google only allows 15 posts per gmail account a day. This is more than enough because if you post to 15 groups that have around 500 members in them, then that is 7,500 potential targeted visitors.
