Yep, Google was at it again it seems as I just noticed that my blog was upgraded to a PR of 4! This is great news, as we all know that PR determines/can at least help you rank better in search engines and add more value to your overall site.
If you have been stuck at cranking, try this “reversed” approach. Now you are not limited by the offers. You are liberated from the limited thinking posed by the offer itself. Now you can find opportunities first, then use offers to monetize the opportunities. Let me open your mind a little more with a simple but powerful trick:
Next time when you are going to watch TV, take a notepad with you. Take a note of whats hot on the news (new government policy, celebrity news, local events), take a note of all kinds of advertisements (weight loss, money making, coupons, promotions, pay close attention to those 30-minute-long informationals, those are my favorite TV programmes), take a note of domain names if any are ever mentioned. If you do this for one day, you are going to have 10 pages of keywords you can use to promote your own campaigns.
The keywords for your campaigns can be an event, can be a company name, can be a domain name, can be a coupon code. Do you get it? What happens is people see the TV programme, then they go back to their computer to Google more information about it. Who are these people? Buyers!
Exact match keywords means that you place your keywords in brackets and only people searching for that exact term will see your ad. So, if your keyword is “blue cars” then your ad will show up only when people type in “blue cars” exactly and not “buy blue cars” or “used blue cars” or even “blue car”.
Phrase matches allow you to access a wider target market. These keywords are contained in quotations “” so, continuing with our same example, “blue cars” will show your ad whenever people type in searches such as “used blue cars”, “big blue car”, “sell blue cars”. On the other hand, your ad will not show up for a search such as “blue used cars”.
Broad match terms are those without delimiters so you would simply type your term in as blue cars. If you don’t add negative keywords your ad will show up for everything from blue cars photos to a blue sedan type car that looks cool.
Of course, you will also have to set up a Google AdWords account, where you can set your daily budget as well as the maximum CPC you are willing to pay for each keyword. Once your daily budget has been met, Google will simply stop showing your ad for the remainder of the day.
This is why there are many who advocate that it is better to set a lower CPC rather than lowering your budget because it’s better to be shown on the eighth position of the list for the whole day rather than the second position for part of the day. There are also some statistics that show ads in lower positions tend to generate more sales and convert better.
If done right, this method will get you instant, targeted traffic to your site very fast. We’ll use Google Groups to get the traffic. On Google Groups there is a group about anything so your options are endless. It’s very easy to find a google group for your niche. Just go to http://groups.google.com and search for “iphone”.
After that click on the “Groups matching iphone” link and you will see the exact amount of groups in this niche as well as their activity. You would think that the more members there are the more sales you would make. I have found this to be false. Why? The more members there are, the more activity it will be and your posts will go down faster and people won’t see them.
The result = Less traffic to your website. So what’s the solution? Choose groups with max 500 members. Those work best! Google only allows 15 posts per gmail account a day. This is more than enough because if you post to 15 groups that have around 500 members in them, then that is 7,500 potential targeted visitors.
My Adwords account got suspended today because of my blog. Yep you heard that right. Apparently its a “get rich quick” site. I’m flattered Google, thank you so much! 🙂 Anyways, they didn’t suspend all of my Adwords accounts, and as many of you probably are aware, you are more than able to make another Adwords account with your same information, for some reason, they just feel like suspending your older accounts for no good reason like this one.
Thank You Adwords!
Ridiculous I know, but oh well its not like they are stopping me from creating or using my other Adwords account I just found it quite amusing that my blog was labeled as get rich quick! ( So you know what that means right? If Google thinks people can get rich quick with my blog, you better subscribe and start reading it! 😉
Looks like Googles new page rank update has finally gone through for this year! Now originally my blog was a page rank of 0, but finally its not 0 anymore and I’m extremely happy about it. Sure we all know that page rank doesn’t play that big of a role anymore in search indexing and SERP rankings, but it is valuable when you are selling link spots or plan on selling your blog or site eventually.
Check Your Page Rank!
Anyways, wanted to make this post short and sweet and just let my readers know to check their websites to see if they increased their page rank at all, and if you have, let me know what it is changed to know as I’m curious to see how other blogs did. Mine jumped 2 page ranks so I was pretty happy about that, but I think it only was changed for my home page, not sure if my older posts actually got any page rank at all.
Contrary to what many people think, building any site on what you like and your interests is not a very good idea. It’s not going to be very profitable. I still can’t figure out why people want to build niche sites based on personal interests. I guess it could get me started with learning Internet basics, but it wasn’t going to build a cash flow. I found out very quickly that there were more profitable markets to build my sites around. Make sure you provide the niche that people want.
Don’t create a product then find the niche, you need to do the opposite, find the niche then supply the product. You need to remember that just because a certain phrase pays well, doesn’t mean you will get a good search engine ranking for it, or that people will be attracted to your page. Should you go after high paying phrases regardless of topic? Just remember not to jump on the phrase bandwagon unless it’s related to your website. Also, make sure it’s something you have a passion for.
Reverse Words/Mix Up Words – Always remember that your keywords list can be put into different combinations. This is VERY simple, I know….but it’s also very effective. So say your main keyword is “diet supplement”…don’t forget to include…“supplement diet” either. Yeah, I know it sounds kind of weird…but people do search for things that way, and you’ll generally get decent traffic for those combinations. And if you have three keyword phrases…like “car insurance quotes”…then you can mix up those words into different combinations as well.
Not Space Between Keywords – This is actually one that I found very surprising how effective it was. A lot of people it seems will either be typing too fast to include spaces between their keywords, or they’re trying to get to a specific website so they wouldn’t write it with space…or WHATEVER the reason..it happens…and it happens a LOT. So remember that for any of your phrases, taking out the spaces between the words can help you capture more traffic (usually even better because it’s the same quality of traffic (meaning very targeted)..but usually it has little to no competition at all.

In order for you to get the best results from your Press Release, please do some Search Engine Optimization to your press release article before you actually submit it to Google News. These things are crucial, so take notes if you want some major traffic flow!
1) One Keyword, One Press Release!
This is an important concept. You must identify the keyword you want that people can search and find you on the Internet. With that keyword in mind, your PR should be focused and targeted to the keyword. If you are targeting a broad range of few keywords, you can always rewrite your PR article and make each of them focused on one keyword, this way, you can minimize the cost of producing PR article.
What does Google news mean to you and your business? Want to get the benefits that this can bring but don’t know where to start? Read on to learn more…
1) Google news is one of the best place to publish your Press Release(PR). It will give you a lot of traffic and you stand a chance for journalist to pick your news up and spread it throughout the internet.
2) You get to enjoy a huge indexing activity on your website. In your PR, remember to include your website URL, or else, there is no purpose of doing the PR. Once you include your website address, in the following days, you will notice a lot of bots (spiders) coming to your website to crawl your content. You will get not only Googlebot, Slurp (yahoo) but also Ask.com and a lot of other search engine’s bot coming your way and index your website into their search database. So please, make sure your website is in good looking condition!
